Today, the General Secretariat of the Council for University Affairs launched the electronic portal, which includes a package of data, information and electronic services, to introduce the Council as an independent body and publish its news, decisions and regulations, in a way that contributes to facilitating access to information and data, and answers inquiries of interest to beneficiaries and researchers, and in a way that raises organizational performance. It achieves business efficiency.

The portal contributes to strengthening the presence of the University Affairs Council on the Internet within the strategy of enabling digital transformation to play a greater role that serves Saudi universities and their employees and supports their empowerment, independence and internal and external partnerships, and in continuation of its efforts to achieve the goals of its development programs and automate the services provided to university education employees and partners.

The introductory services provided by the electronic portal include a number of technical, educational and research aspects and areas of creativity and scientific innovation, in addition to a number of introductory and awareness-raising materials and decisions, most notably: the new university system, the system of the Higher Education Council, regulations, introducing the members of the council, and clarifying the vision and mission of the council.

On this occasion, His Excellency the Secretary noted the importance of technical development and digital transformation to keep pace with the modernization and development that the education sector in general and universities and academic institutions in particular are going through.
