A leading academic with a PhD in Anatomy and Neuroscience from Dalhousie University in Canada, she boasts a distinguished academic and leadership career, including over fifty peer-reviewed research papers. She served as President of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University from 2019 to 2025, spearheading transformative initiatives in women’s empowerment, youth development, and innovation, aligned with Vision 2030. Among her most notable achievements is the establishment of the National Observatory for Women, in addition to holding senior leadership positions at King Saud University.

She serves on the boards of major national institutions and holds some of the highest academic and international honors, including the National Order of the Legion of Honor from the French Republic (2023), a Visiting Scholar Fellowship at Harvard University (2008), the Academic Excellence Award from Dalhousie University, and First Class Honors from King Saud University. She is dedicated to advancing education, scientific research, and innovation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
